Great unit, in like new condition with latest firmware. It does great surround sound but for music listening it can't be beat in its price range. I purchased it back in Mar. and used it till July. I'm selling it because I was able to by a Krell Showcase Pre and Amp for a song. Believe it or not it took awhile for me to choose between the NAD and the Krell.

New $1000. $600 plus shipping OBM

The NAD T 753 is heir to many generations of award winning NAD designs. This exceptional pedigree is evident in both the look and the feel of the T 753, and it is unmistakable the moment you listen. Based on the highly successful T 752, the T 753 boasts detail improvements in virtually every area of the receiver, for a cumulative effect that is fully deserving of the new model number. Starting with a revised heat management system that reduces internal operating temperatures even under the most severe operating conditions, the T 753 includes a new volume control circuit and input switching circuit that further reduces noise and distortion.

As far as I know it is the latest. If you know how I can check it I will.

    Greg,

I've copied and pasted the changes from the link I sent, sorry it doesn't come up so nice.

NAD Txx3 V2.xx Operating System improvements over V1.xx

    · Most temporary messages on the VFD can now also be displayed on
    the OSD.

    · A/V Presets can be renamed.

    · 5 fixed built in A/V Presets (Preset 6 - 10) which contain common
    speaker configurations.

    · Tuner status is now shown on the OSD. This includes TUNED,
STEREO, and FM MUTE icons, frequency, preset name, RDS name,
preset number. On T163/T763/T773 this also includes the RDS radio
    text.

    · Direct frequency entry for tuner. (Put the HTR 2 in TUNER mode to
    use this feature.)

    · New menu called ZONE SETTINGS. This menu has the following new
    options:

o POWER STATE - Allows you to power on or off the second zone
    without using the ZR2.

o INPUT - Allows you to change the input for the second zone without
    using the ZR2.

o VOLUME CTRL - Allows you to disable the volume control for the
    second zone.

o LEVEL - Used to set the fixed level output if volume control is
disabled, or to adjust the current volume.

o ZONE SPEAKER - Can be used to turn on the speaker relays with
the second zone even if the main zone is turned off. This allows
you to use the internal power amp for the second zone.

    · ENHANCED STEREO modes are now fully user configurable. You
can choose which speakers you want on.

    · Discrete IR commands were added for each surround mode.

    · Improved functionality of sleep timer (first query indicates status).

    · Add ENHANCED BASS option to SPEAKER SETTINGS screen. This
option will cause low frequencies to be sent to the sub woofer even
when the speaker is set to LARGE.

    · If the ROM is changed on the DSP board, v2.00 also adds ProLogic IIx
    support.

Also, are the physical specs you listed right? They look mixed up with those for the T743.

    Thanks

I'm not sure on all the specs. I just cut and pasted from dealer web site. I have now just updated the desc. straight from the NAD web site.
