Dreaming into 2007 *
In the 4+ years as a member, my wish list of movies of the 20th Century Fox banner has dwindled from more that a dozen or more (as some were added along the way) to a mere 4. Like RafaelPires, I'm still waiting for :
THE GUNFIGHTER (1950 with Gregory Peck). The other 3 are:
THE FLIM-FLAM MAN (1967 with George C. Scott)
VIVA ZAPATA (1952 with Marlon Brando)
WHO IS HARRY KELLERMAN AND WHY IS HE SAYING THOSE AWFUL
THINGS ABOUT ME (1971 with Dustin Hoffman)
Maybe 2007 will be the year! (assuming Fox still owns them.)

Raggedy Ann and Andy: A Musical Adventure

It's very possible that Fox doesn't even know they have this. They released the CED, laserdisc, and VHS (1992) all under the CBS-FOX label. ITT/Bobbs-Merrill produced the film and released through Fox, so it's also possible the rights reverted back to them.

It's a 1977 animated feature directed by Richard Williams (animation director of Who Framed Roger Rabbit - three-time Oscar winner). The film was shot in Panavision, so it requires a new 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer. All existing videos are in pan & scan. I think it had only mono sound when released.

There was also a book written by John Canemaker on the making of the film that's out of print (maybe possible to have Canemaker do a commentary, perhaps joined by others). Even though it's sort of obscure (any child growing up in the 1980s saw it on The Disney Channel constantly, probably), it's a fantastic animated film. It would just be nice to finally see a remastered version finally in the original Panavision format.

Also, please finally release your silent films on DVD. It would also be nice to finally be able to buy Sunrise separately, without having to buy a box set.
