Film Review: The Eye (1 Viewer)

How is the Panorama R0 NTSC DVD release of this film? DDDHouse has it for $70HK + shipping, which sounds like a good deal to me for a quality presentation.

I got this DVD and it isn't a quality presentation -- non-anamorphic, non-high-def transfer, and a lot of color banding, especially in those blurry, intentionally out-of-focus shots. The DTS 5.1 track is pretty good, however, presenting the creepy music very well.

Ok...guys...did any member did any review of THE EYE 2 recently...the film was just released 3wks back in singapore...
This sequel is much more scarier than THE EYE 1.

Sorry, can't recommend The Eye except for its SQ.

The story is familiar, the characters are one sided, and the story doesn't go anywhere.

Plot Summary:Girl regains sight, girl sees ghosts, girl losses sight in accident, movie ends
. Thats it.

I'd give it a 3/5. A good effort but a half-finished script make for an mediocre movie.
