Just been waiting for the Amazon preorders to appear as I have already
noticed their sales overseas.

Thanks for the update

You're welcome, Ron. Danny Kaye fans would like to hear that On the Riviera is coming to BD on the same day. Lovely Gene Tierney starring as well.

Fox also has The King of Comedy due any moment now and I
am still hoping All That Jazz is slated for Q4 (I know its ready to go).

I should hopefully have more information on those titles next week
after I attend a Fox event.

That's great, Ron. Could you please ask them if there are any plans to put My Darling Clementine, The Mask of Zorro and original The Flight of the Phoenix on blu-ray?

Also, Pink Panther blu-ray box is highly rumored for this year. Perhaps they could confirm or deny rumours.

Noach,

Since you asked first, and you have been supplying us with
great information, I will inquire about those titles.

Two things, however...

1. I may be given answers confidentially and asked not to
discuss it online. I have to respect that request if given.

2. I don't want to turn this into an ask Fox thread. You asked
first and I'll honor your request solely.

I really am impressed with Fox putting out a continual stream of vault titles on Blu-ray this year. I'm very grateful.

You know it! Fox has done an exceptional job with its releases this year.

I think I'll have more preorders of Q4 Fox Blu-rays than any other studio.

Oh by the way, some cover art for you...

Awesome! I'm totally in for this. Along with The Andromeda Strain (which I hope gets a Blu release soon) this is one of my fave "hard science fiction" films from the sixties, and a pretty good Cold War era thriller as well.

Fox's Shawn Belston and Jamie Finn, who is a Forum member, are to be commended for their efforts in releasing such a large amount of Fox's classic catalog in such beautiful transfers this past year, both directly and via Fox's distribution deal with Twilight Time Entertainment...I never imagined I'd see so many of these titles come out on BD, much less in such sparkling picture and sound for the most part...kudos to them both!!!

Been waiting for these quite awhile and passed up buying FANTASTIC VOYAGE SD more than a few times in hope for the Blu. So glad these are not going to TT. And love the cover art on FV, which is arguably better than the original poster art.

Nice job, Noach! With your other alert about a restored SORCERER and now these two, you are certainly helping to make my Blu year a happy one.

FV has always been a guilty pleasure for me. It's a pretty cheesy movie, but I can appreciate some cheese as well as the next guy. It's just that I wonder who thought it was a good idea to cover up Raquel from head to to? :)

Been quite a few years since I watched it, but always a particular
favorite of mine. It's a terrific story, and as a kid, I thought the effects
were outstanding. Donald Pleasance was quite memorable in this film.

Wonder how well it holds up today. Guess I'll know shortly.

I have the DVD of both VTTBOTS and Fantastic Voyage as a double feature DVD, two great titles! I think the science of FV makes much more sense then Voyage. But both are great movies! I am looking forward to the blu rays of both! Young Barbara Eden and Raquel Welch.

Based on its experience with JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH and Twilight Time, looks like Fox figured out what sells on Blu-ray...

I think I was initially wowed by the effects, but in subsequent viewings I've found the effects to be...quaint.

When Fantastic Voyage was released, this teen was totally thrilled with it and returned several times -- to the theater pictured in my avatar, as it happens. I don't care how quaint any of it may appear now, I'm going to love having both of these on BLU.
