Between 1974 and 1987 Earl Owensby of Shelby, North Carolina produced about two dozen low-budget, independent films with his own money at his own estate which he had turned into a full-service studio. Several of his films were shot in the StereoVision system, a single-camera twin-lens rig that placed the left eye and right eye over/under on a single strip of 35mm film. Those I've seen, including Rottweiler (1981) and Tales of the Third Dimension (1984) were carefully shot and offered excellent 3-D.
The Owensby organization is now offering some their genre films on home video for the first time. Unfortunately, none are in 3-D. However, all his films are worth checking out:

Some of these have been available for a while on VHS from them but I didn't know they were on DVD.
Thanks for the heads up.
Just ordered Buckstone County Prison.

Then I'll order Buckstone County Prison as well, and Wolfman since I've never seen either. No doubt the image quality is better than the trailers. I believe all the Owensby films should be widescreen and anamorphic. I won't order the 3-D titles until they are released in 3-D.
