DVD Player suggestions (1 Viewer)

Well.... after many years my workhorse main DVD player, a DENON DVD-1920 (standard def) finally gave out. I'm looking to replace it with a new one (not Blu-ray). Any suggestions? The new player will become my main player so it has to be a sturdy unit with FAST loading times , and with HDMI output. I also need it to play SACD and DVD-Audio discs with 5.1 or 7.1 ch analog outputs. Hopefully under $250. I have a Panasonic DMP-BD605 Blu-ray player, but loading times are slow as compared to the Denon, and I also hate the Panasonic remote.

Thanks for the info. I finally decided to stick with DENON and bought a DVD-2930CI player which, although old (November 2006) fits my needs perfectly.

It might not have as good of resolution as a true monitor would. All depends on the make and model I guess.They are generally less expensive than a nice monitor, though, I believe.
