Both Season #1 and Season #2 of Duck Tales were released in November of 2005 and 2006 respectively. Thus, despite no advance news of Season #3s release, I'm optimistic that we may see it this year...

Anyone heard any news regarding Season #3?

This is my favorite made-for-TV cartoon series and I would love to see the remaining episodes in a timely fashion.

That info should come out around mid August if history is any judge.

Oh, and it's not Season sets, aren't they labeled as "Volumes."

How many sets would be left to complete the series? #3 and #4 or just #3?

Ducktales ran for 100 episodes. The two existing DVD collections include 51 episodes (27 and 24, respectively) between them, so I would expect it to take two more volumes to complete the series.

TV Shows on DVD just posted information on the forthcoming Ducktakes: Volume 3 DVD set, which will be available in mid-November and include a further 24 episodes. That leaves 25 episodes, which I think we can reasonably expect to be included in a Volume 4 around the same time next year.
