I'm not "allergic" to videocassettes. I've got 80 or so, most of which I really don't bother to upgrade - including 30+ that I got from a friend who went all-DVD.

I am going to be moving late this summer and I would like to leave all VHS tapes and players behind --- giving them away.

I've got probably 200-300 left... half of those store-bought tapes, the other half made up of things I copied, things I taped off HBO or other commercial/edit free channels, or that were promos I got working at a video store.

The most important ones I've replaced, but the things I'll only watch once in a blue moon I haven't gone out to rebuy.

And, of course, I do have both the regular and special editions of the Star Wars trilogy in widescreen.
