Heh, heh. LA 2000. There were more rides like that in those days.
In one of those my wife and I sat in the back of a SUV together with Robert "Obi Wan" George, Chris Maynard being the driver. No-one understood later how we managed to reach Sony's studios, but we did manage.
Another one, with Parker's fiancé Susan as driver, made its way at night through terrible rainy weather back to the hotel from a studio visit. A little bit, just a bit, too fast. I think there were eight or ten more-or-less frightened passengers. We made it that time too.
Crawdaddy's now-famous drive was talk of the group later. I've heard that story several times.
