    This essay explores "dominant social" themes of the new film: [​IMG] Anthony Wile Excerpt:
    Paranoid? Possible? Do we have to wait to find out? What do you think? Seems to me the future can be more hopeful and that books and movies of this sort do glorify defeatism and despair. Even the new Star Trek film isn't about finding new races, new civilizations, to go boldly...it's about terrorism. Better to watch the Blu-rays of classic TOS and TNG.
