Do I need to purchase a Back-UPS for my LCD television? (1 Viewer)

I have this:

Samsung - LN40A4650
I already have a Back-UPS for my iMac, but I'm not sure if I should plug my TV into it, as well (that is, if it will accommodate the TV in addition to the iMac and still protect both devices).
Thoughts?

the UPS part would serve no valid purpose.
Perhaps it may help with a power surge.

I already have a Back-UPS ES 650 for my iMac. Would that cover my LCD as well? Any way to find this out? Or should I just buy a separate surge protector for TV?
