when HD-DVD's come out.

Wouldn't that create a rip in the DVD space time continuum? HD-DVD's are DVD's too.

I met Mr. Sterling at a talk he gave at my college nearly 10 years ago. He was really quite intelligent and very interesting when I talked to him at the reception afterwards. Slightly cocky, but a pretty nice guy.

Too bad his mind seems to be deteriorating. He clearly doesn't know how to handle DVDs, and his eyesight can't be that good if he thinks you need a "HDTV superscreen" to tell the improvement DVD offers. That he seems to be lamenting the fall of VHS tapes is even sadder, and just plain inexplicable.
