DLP vs D-ILA (for the infamous video game lag issues) (1 Viewer)

Hey gang,

I've searched high and low for the answer to this question, but can't find the answer anywhere, even though I KNOW its been discussed on several occasions. So I apologize for bringing this up again.

But I'm very interested in the JVC HD-61FN97 (61" ). My only concern is that I've noticed people complain about lag in video games. While my focus is definitely on Hi-Def DVD, I would like the ability to play video games on my new tv.

Is any technology immune to this issue? Or is it on a set-by-set bassis?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

61FH97 owner here, no problems with gaming lag.
