What audio do you need "off the Panasonic"?
The only audio worth taking off is its own tuner. If anything is "connected to the TV", you are better off connecting that to the 1912.

Connect your TV via toslink to the 1912. Done, easy peasy.
So, the source of this movie must either be OTA or cable connected to the 75ohm on the TV. Right?
Cause that is the only scenario where it makes sense to want audio off the TV.

I just checked, you could turn the ARC on in both the TV and AVR. But the only 5.1 you'll get is off the tuner(like I said earler...OTA or cable connected to the 75ohm)

Have you read the owners manuals?
Cause I have to go download the owners manuals to tell you which page of the owners manual to look at.
