Did they carry BD and HD-DVD during the last sale? If so, did the discount apply to them?

Guess it's time to decide whether to keep that cheap HD-A2. . . [IMG]

Yeah, they had them during the last two 20% sales. But, a lot of their prices were a few bucks more than Amazon. I have that 10% off all my HD purchases through Amazon, so it didn't benefit me to order through DDD. Right now, Transformers on HD is cheaper than Amazon... So certain titles will be cheaper than we (anyone with the 10% off HD) can get on a daily basis through Amazon. Those are the titles I'll be looking at purchasing.

Is the code will work to HD-DVD and Bluray movies? Thanks!

This really comes at a bad time of year for me, as no one I buy gifts for is really into DVD's. So I end up spending a bunch of money on me that I should be spending on other boring gifts. [IMG]

Well, maybe I'll finally pick up at least one of the George Carlin box sets. I'll never understand why those are still so expensive. [IMG]

I'd love to get a bunch of Hd discs as well.....but I'm so back logged on sd dvd's I'll use this sale to play catch up. I'll worry about the Hd discs at a later date.

Actually, a quick glance at their HD prices reveals an historically low temptation level this time around.

I agree that the DDD HD prices are nothing to write home about, especially in light of all the deals popping up recently, so I went looking around the DVD Planet website instead and placed a couple of 20%-off orders there with the code ("20offsale") that vendor has released (multiple-use code, not one-time like the various DDD codes):

Only if it's released before the 25th, ... then you can order it after it has been released but not before.

Here's the specific details from my email ...

Thanks for the heads up, but unfortuneately I probably won't be able to purchase much, if anything. The not-for-profit organization I work for has to dissolve at the end of January 2008, and I don't have any new job lined up yet.
