I downloaded it last week for the 360, and I have to say being a fan of the first Dark Souls game(and Demon Souls) that this seems harder. It is punishing until you learn the basics like always having your Estus Flask(restore HP) and leveling up often.
After that things start to fall into place. I died around 40 times in a row the other night pushing on into uncharted territory. It sounds absolutely absurd, but that is the beauty of Darks Souls. It may be the only game series that continues to kick my ass up and down...yet, I still am drawn to playing it. The atmosphere, and rewarding feeling after exploring a new territory, or getting a new special weapon is unparalleled in any video game to me. Simply put, it is one of the best if not thee best fantasy games ever made.
From Software does it again. Another truly amazing game that should silence all the those that believe incredible games coming from Japan no longer exist.
Grade-A
