Hi, all;
This is my first post; I did not see this covered in the FAQ.
We just purchased a Toshiba 57H82. Now, I am being patient with burn-in, etc., but I have noticed that, when viewing a grid, letterbox, etc., purprtedly straight lines at the top actually form a gentle wave across the top of the screen (i.e., straight for a distance, then occasional dips and rises_. Also, there is a definite "pull" at the right top and bottom corners - the right op pulls up, the right bottom pulls down. Same thing with test grids - definitely not displaying a perfect square. This is the same regardless of which move- theaterwide, native, full - I use.
This doesn't appear to be a convergence problem. I manually converged using the "forbidden service menu" - the lines are coverged, they are just not straight.
Is this normal? Something that will improve with burn-in? Something I should be worried about as a sign of a defective TV?
Thanks,
Mike
