O.C. and Stiggs is presented in scope, but not 16x9, unfortunately.

There is even a short interview with Robert Altman. No one else is allowed to defend his or her self, though.

Jon,

ANGEL OF HEAT is already out on DVD, from Montery (from a old LD analog master!)

CHUD is out on DVD from anchor bay, and I know they announced HEART LIKE A WHEEL.

Walter,

Thanks for the info on the titles. That LD master is quite OLD...I think that was a Vestron release from the very early eighties.

Good thing about the Anchor Bay releases, especially the Kaplan film, a product of Fox's relationship with AB.

Monterey is still around? I didn't know that. I love their big old colorful VHS boxes.

I wanna see ZAPPED! (1982) hit DVD. It's one of the most hilariously stupid comedies ever made, featuring the crack comedy team of Baio and Aames in peak form.

Another reason to hate Sony's purchase of MGM. The director's cut of FROM BEYOND has been completed and mastered in Hi-Def-- apparently if you have "Monsters HD" on the Dish Network, it's premiering in June:

From Beyond Director's Cut To Premiere June 10

Where the hell is the DVD?! Oh, yeah, Sony is busy with that special edition of THE CUTTING EDGE we've all been waiting for.

I'm happy to report that at this stage my film collection has reached near perfection and I couldn't be more satisfied . Most of my childhood favorites have been released, along with some I never thought would make it out (Madman, One Dark Night, Superstition, etc). Its always nice when the distributors go the extra mile and track down the director of a really obscure, low budget flick and record a commentary or an interview with them, although I'm not a huge fan of commentaries. If the movie looks decent, is completely uncut and its in widescreen, I'm a very happy camper. The following films would definitely fill the void in my library:

The Final Terror
Mortuary
Death Ship
Damnation Alley
The World, the Flesh and the Devil
The Boogens
Blood Beach
Neon City
Radioactive Dreams
