How Would you want Criterion to handle MAD WORLD?

Can't the entire message be removed, instead of showing us that notice which amounts to THIS PERSON DID SOMETHING REALLY BAD SO WE'RE TAKING IT DOWN, BUT YOU'D HAVE LOVED WHAT IT WAS!?

Actually it was the 513 minute super secret cut that was just located in Jonathan Winters basement but on 16mm pan-scan. Now do we expect a December release or an early 2014 release. My vote is early 2014 and the reason is I think Criterion wants to do this right.

Yeah, I posted this earlier in the thread....

I never buy Criterion titles at full price. Never.

This one, I will have no hesitation to purchase day one.

How could I possibly not hold this one in my hands and load the disc at the first possible minute?

I'll be the odd man out here: since I find much of the film painfully unfunny, I'll be waiting for the B&N sale. I am anxious to see if I like the film any better in this upcoming version.

I'll be buying this during the B&N sale only because I own all the Criterion releases. Like you, maybe I'll like it better in the Criterion edition.
I do find this thread fascinating in spite of my personal non-admiration for this film.
