I am up to 117 tv series. I should hit 120 by the end of October 2014. I also have over 61 cartoons. My goal when I started collecting TV shows was 200 completed shows and I am close to that target. In fact if deals come good next year then I could easily finished 19 series next year.

(On a huge tangent).

I'm pretty much at the point where I'm "burned out" on acquiring more tv season sets. I just don't care as much anymore.

Compounding this is how it is taking a long time to finishing watching the stuff I already have in my collection. There's numerous more recent shows I would like to watch, but I won't bother anymore with buying any of the dvd (or bluray) sets.

With all this being said, I'm resigned to just "completing" the tv shows where I already own several previous seasons. I'm not going to bother buying many new shows (both catalog and new first-runs), unless it is something that is really compelling to me.

The shows I want to eventually "complete" to a limited extent to my satisfaction (not absolutely), is stuff like:

the original Mission Impossible - seasons 6 and 7
Eureka - seasons 3 and 4
Warehouse 13 - seasons 3 to 5
Lexx - season 4
Sanctuary - season 4
Hercules - seasons 5 and 6
Xena - seasons 5 and 6
Starsky & Hutch - seasons 3 and 4
Alias - seasons 2 to 5
The Mentalist - seasons 5 to 7
Psych - seasons 5 to 8
the revived Dallas - season 3
Happy Days - seasons 2 and 3

the original Law & Order - season 13. (I liked the seasons with Jerry Orbach).
Law & Order: Criminal Intent - season 7. (I liked the seasons with Chris Noth).
Law & Order: SVU - seasons 4, 5, and 7 (maybe 8 and 9).

CSI - seasons 2 to 8. (I liked the seasons with William Petersen and Gary Dourdan, and already have seasons 1 and 9 on bluray).

At the present time, none of these are really a priority for me. I'll just wait until they show up in the local bargain bins for $15 a pop or less.

The Specs on IMDB
Camera - Arriflex 16 mm Cameras
Negative Format -16 mm (exteriors and locations)
Video -(studio shots)
Cinematographic Process - Spherical
Printed Film Format - Video

Is the Printed film format the spec that would tell about the potential of what could be done with shows ? Meaning if they can be transferred to HD . the other specs give it potential expect the studio shots. I have seen them try a few other shows on bluray that had a video print and so far it does not look like it's worth the trouble . Are there MPFC dvd's that are uncut ? It looks like anything with A&E is all cut of versions.

This is my second post on this page.
Since that September 15, 2015 post, I have added these other complete TV Series' to my DVD collection.

Angels in America (TV Mini-Series from 2003 that starred Al Pacino, Meryl Streep and Emma Thompson)
Kojak (Seasons 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 + all eight TV movies)
Kolchak: The Night Stalker
Hart to Hart
(Seasons 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5)
Honey West
Mannix
(The Complete Series)
Rawhide (Seasons 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8)
The Lucy Show (The Complete Series)
The Rebel (The Complete Series)
The Rockford Files (The Complete Collection 34-disc box set that was released by Universal in 2015)

I know that there were eight Hart to Hart television movies that aired from 1993-1996, but, I still don't have any of those eight made-for-television movies due to the fact that those eight movies have been released just on DVD-R's.

I totally despise DVD-R's.
