Someone posted in the forum on KnotsLanding.net that the series was set for release in Germany this forthcoming year...if this is so, why of all places Germany?
1) The Colgate Comedy Hour (particularly the shows hosted by Martin & Lewis and Abbott & Costello)
2) Northern Exposure
3) Leave it to Beaver
4) The Kids from C.A.P.E.R. - This was a short-lived childrens show that ran on Saturday morning in the late 1970's. It was sort of like "The Monkees".
5) The Brady Bunch
6) Freaky Links
7) The Lone Gunmen - Ok, its too new to be a classic. But it was damn funny and I want it.
I second the DRAGNET series...really both the early ones and the later color ones. Also, I would add: SEA HUNT HIGHWAY PATROL SCIENCE FICTION THEATRE THRILLER
I'm collecting Perry Mason and Carol Burnett Show sets through Columbia House. The quality is excellent. I only wish they were being issued chronologically. Other classic TV shows I would purchase in a heartbeat.
