I would love to have this movie on DVD, but I refuse to buy the p&s copy. I want it in it's OAR!

This is the only non-OAR DVD I own (an early mistake:b). I still watch it since it's better than video tape or live TV, but I would buy a widescreen version in a heartbeat.

I pick this one up every year....and then promptly put it back down when I see that it is full-screen. I'd love to buy it one day in widescreen anamorphic.

Unfortunately, it looks like it's too late for this year. Once again, the shelves are full of the old formatted version.

Count me in. I love this film, watch it every year on the TNT 24 hour marathon, but have never seen it in it's OAR.
What is this films OAR anyway? It strikes me as a 1.85:1 film, am I right?

Warner Bros. do you understand the words that are coming out of our mouths......A Christmas Story in WIDESCREEN, 16x9 anamorphic transfer, with good special features. Thats all we ask.
