It took almost 6 years to get my check from a class action against RCA (Thompson) for the faulty tuner board in my tv ($178.00). Since the repair, the tv has worked perfectly.
These things take way too long.

I never signed on to this suit, but I noticed that, too!

If you figure that the price-fixing probably cost buyers $1.00 (or more) per CD, and that many people have bought hundreds of CDs, this would appear to be a light slap on the wrist.

If you belong to the Columbia House or BMG Music clubs, they had a special order form for up to 3 CDs at 75% off club prices + free S&H as part of the settlement. Almost tossed it out until I realized what it was.
