MartinLogan has introduced their new BalancedForce subwoofer series at CEDIA EXPO 2013. The BalancedForce subwoofer will be available in a 2x10" and 2x12" configuration, both featuring a dual opposed design. The BalancedForce subwoofer will feature two aluminum cone woofers and two 850 watt amplifiers delivering 1700W (3400W Peak) of power.

Among the special new features in the BalancedForce subwoofer are integration with PBK room correction from sister company Paradigm, and a tone sweep mode that can be paused to help identify room rattles and resonances.

Additionally,MartinLogan has developed DSP curves for each of their existing speaker models to ensure proper integration with the BalancedForce subwoofer. Dealers and customers will be able to download these curves from the MartinLogan website and load them into the onboard DSP via the USB port on the amplifier.

The BalancedForce subwoofer is expected to be avaialble in Fall of 2013 and will start at $2,995 for the 10" model and $3,995 for the 12 model respectively.
