I have noticed that when I play my Alpine CD changer with my amp and sub the CD's will skip or cut out for a few seconds and then come back. This happens when I turn a corner or am driving at a fast speed. This started happening all of sudden because I have this changer for about 4 years and have never had a problem with it skipping before. They had to run some wiring from my Alpine head unit to my amp to get the CD changer to play through the amp and sub(hopefully that makes sense). I just don't understand why my CD changer is skipping and cutting out like this. Is it because I have my levels on the amp too load or is it because the connection from the head unit to amp or is it the CD Changer itself? I did a test in my garage and played a CD in the changer and I tapped on the CD changer with my hand hard enough for it to cut it and then come back. I really need someone's help on this.
