The audio CD spec shows that a CD will represent frequencies from 20Hz to 20kHz, right? If so, how can these CDs claim their below 20Hz frequencies?

Digital signals (including those on CD) can represent frequencies below 20Hz.

2Hz - 22kHz is more like it, however the analog output stage of a CD player may start cutting away low frequency volume.
