I haven't bought a DVD in about almost 2 months and have been waiting on edge for later this week when all my titles start rolling in, and now this? &#!*

If Canada is affected, then so will people in a lot of other countries. I order a lot of DVDs from R1.
However, given the cause of the delay, I'm not sure that beefing about it is fair.

I kind of expected this week (perhaps) and definitely next week to be delayed, but I thought things might be back on track soon. Just hoping that the Godfather box set and Star Wars are on time-been looking forward to those for a while.

I work at Rogers. They got Goonies, Total Recall, Driven, Spy Kids, and others.
If you want to buy or rent these discs and can't find them, go there.

Jeff,
Which Rogers do you work at. I recently applied for a job there and had my interview on Friday. Perhaps if your at the store I applied for you could recommend me to the hiring person Dawn. I need a job to support my addiction (DVDs)

UPS and FedEx seem to be at normal operations. I live in Tokyo and received parcels sent Friday afternoon from U.S. on Monday which is normal service. They operate their own airplanes to major locations.

FedEx and UPS have their own fleet of 747's, so if DVDs are being shipped via FedEx and UPS, I don't think there will be problems.
