when we designed my basmet we wired another room for two more speaker. the room next to the one with our HT. what i want to be able to do is buy an amp(2 channels/ 100 watts each)and hook it up to my reciver(kenwood VR-6070) and be able to listen to music all thorought my basement through my HT and the additional two speakers in the other room. First off will this work? if so, what type of connection is used between the reciver and amp, and what is a good(not to expensive) amp with 2 channels/100 watts each?
thanks.

You should be able to just hook up another pair of speakers to the B speakers out and be able to play speakers a&b at the same time.

ok i see what you mean. so when i have the A and B speakers on at the same time, the two fronts and sub of my HT and the two speakers in the other room will be playing, right? because when i hit the speaker B button on my reciver it automatical goes into stereo(fronts and sub, no center chanel)
