They're kidding, right? Before Treasure Planet, Atlantis, Emperor's New Groove, Tarzan, Black Cauldron, Black Hole, Pete's Dragon, Bedknobs and Broomsticks or Mary Poppins? Really?

Must confess, i am surprised with this one....but it probably it will sell...and THAT is the point i guess. Just to side track the thread HERCULES doesn't even have an anamorphic DVD...it would definitely benefit from a "blu" transfer...and i do like it!

I have to agree with all of you that Disney has been

rather slow to get out some classics on Blu-ray,

though I do know of one title in the works (live-action)

that's a huge classic for them that we should be hearing

about by year's end (nobody has mentioned the title yet

and I can't say anything official about it other than that).

Mary Poppins is my guess....But I'm hoping for 20,000 Leagues.

I have to admit, this is one of my favorite Disney sequels. I enjoy the story, the music, and how the animators stayed true to the original. However, the retail price is a bit high for a 'direct to video' release. I'll probably get this, if it ever gets under $15.
