I always check to make sure i'm getting the right disc, but what really gets me sometimes is when the idiots at the rental place put the wrong disc in the box when they give it to me. *Sigh*... now I have to make them "test" it to make sure i'm getting the right version.

For example, I wouldn't think twice about picking up something like Predator or American Beauty. I know the disc will include a widescreen transfer.

You need to watch out for Predator. There are separate versions of this title, as well. The WS version is actually becoming harder to find.
