Has the August 3 release date for the Blu-Ray been delayed? Amazon did not ship and this title seems to have been removed from other sales sites.

Fox/MGM released a press notice about a month ago saying this Blu-ray had been postponed indefinitely. They gave no reason.

Yes, the title has been delayed as you indicated from not shipping at Amazon or being available at other sites.

Well, you can't.

I'm surprised nobody else commented on the last part of your post.


Of course, the film that won those awards hasn't been available for some time now, and has unfortunately been supplanted by a version which has been Lucasized by the filmmakers. I still have my old VHS.
