I've been told by a Fry's employee that they will blow out their remiaing HD-DVD stock on Black Friday.

inetvideo already has $2-7 HD DVD prices.

I saw gotapex.com had a circuit city listing for the Sammy 50" 1080p plasma with Xbox (and 2 games) for $999. This is screaming. I went to the link but it was off the CC site. Later that day...it was $1499 (which is still a good buy).

Id like to buy a "good" panel, with 1080p 47-52". The $999 price would be great.

I have no idea all I know is that the manager of the local Fry's told me that they want to get all of them off the shelves on Black Friday so they can use the space for Blu-Ray and other products.

Last year I got up at 1:00 AM and Camped out in front of K-Mart to get a 37-Inch HDTV for $400.00! It was well worth it!

Thank you Mike but I should have mentioned that I am hoping to get this small TV as part of the Black Friday deals. Last year I picked up a 37" LCD for $499 so I am hoping that I can get a steal on a small one. I have noticed several companies offering the smaller TVs this year and some even include built in DVD players. Just trying to figure out the best deal.

FWIW-Last year after B/F I picked up one of those visio 50" plasmas last year at wally world for $995 and we have had great service from it, the picture is very good, in fact my wife makes fun of me, because I am constantly remarking how good the picture is, very pleased. YMMV

- various current Blu-Rays (including all three previously noted) for $15

The first, third and fourth offers are 'Early Bird/Door Buster' specials from 5AM to 11AM on Friday only.

Meijer's will also have various DVDs for $1.99, other DVDs for $3.99 and 'recent release' DVDs for $5.99. Sorry, no titles, but this is an Early Bird special.
