One of my favorite Ennio Morricone scores was for The Untouchables. Love that opening theme!

I've also become a fan of David Arnold lately. I loved Stargate and from the last few James Bond films I think you can tell that he's a fan of the earlier Connery Bonds... His 007 scores just sound like classic Bond to me!

Yes, great, great score. Kinda reminds me of Mikis Theodorakis' music from Serpico.

People are certainly forgetting one of the greatest:

Philip Glass: Qatsi Trilogy. Especially Naqoyqatsi w/yoyo ma.

Bernard Herrmann – The classic Hitch films and Cape Fear
William’s Raiders score has some awesome moments (map room) and the many others of course that he did are excellent

Thx for the reply re first Matrix DVD main menu music. But the version of the song used is quite diferent than that which is on the The Cross Of Changes album that you can hear a little sample of at AllMusicGuide.com and Amazon . . .
