I have WinDVD on my laptop & PowerDVD XP on my home PC. Both work fine for me.

Gents - I am new to HT and just gearing up to purchase - am very computer proficient.

    Question for ya's:

Do you use the HTPC instead of a DVD player? Or combined with a DVD player? If combined, how is everything hooked up (i.e. what to what) projector, PC, DVD?

    Appreciate your help

    Steve
