Lots of good ones mentioned here already.

Titanic SE dts6.1es is a killer. Check out in particular the scene where Rose goes sublevel to look for Jack. The creaking of the ship is intensive in the extreme and the audio puts you in the hull of the giant ship.

Um, can't believe nobody mentioned it, but Jurassic Park!

U-571 is also a great one. Your house will shake when the depth charges go off.

The opening 10-15 min of MASTER AND COMMANDER are extraodinary, both in the quiet atmospheric sounds and the loud battle scene. The ship's crew running around on the wooden deck overhead made me think my neighbors were breaking down my door!

Other amazing DTS titles, some mentioned before:
BLADE II (holy crow!)
SEVEN (rain, ticking metronome, flying cockroaches, city noises)
LOTR: EE (all of 'em)
BRAM STOKER'S DRACULA superbit (ultra-creepy Castle Dracula whispers, creaks, squeaks, and other sounds, plus that music)
GLADIATOR
LAND OF THE DEAD has some nice booming machine-gun and explosion sequences

wasn't there a japanese superbit of final fantasy? i have no doubt the dts will rock. speaking of rock, region 2 the rock s.e. has a nice dts. the region 1 criterion is fucked up for that matter :frowning:

minority report has very nice dts track, just like i, robot has too.

Agreed. In fact, it was New York Minute that I used to demo speaker systems when I was buying.

Not saying it's top of the heap or anything but since Halloween is pretty near, give Suspiria a rip!

Well, considering that this is the umpteenth thread on this subject, it's certainly been recommended in the past. :)

Here's an obvious one that will rip the roof off the joint and send you running for the shelter...Twister!

And add yet another who thinks that Saving Private Ryan is the DTS track to end them all.

The Haunting will damage your house' foundation if your not careful with that volume!

looks like you never heard about the problem with the dts track on the criterion dvd ;)
afaik there was a problem in the authoring and the dts got sort of busted and lacks the definition. there is a huge thread about this here at htf. in comparison to the dolby track on the same disc the dts track looses.

Master And Commander (test the storm sequence, it almost made my wife seasick while she was in her bed a floor above our home theater)

TWISTER !!!

Jurassic Park (man I love the roaring sound of the T-Rex stating his frustration when he couldn't catch the Jeep)

Gladiator
Saving Private Ryan
Black Hawk Down
