I have a Samsung BDC-6500 Blu Ray running on a Sharp Aquos Quattron tv. I am purchasing a Yamaha RX-a1030 receiver. Is there a better Blu Ray out there? I have a 1080p tv (not 3d).

    In terms of what?

    DVD upscaling?
    Network usage?
    Simplest menu?
    CD play back?

    What?

Network usage and upscaling I guess. I don't care about the simplicity of the menus. I have had issues with connecting to my router with this blu ray....Everything else (Kindle, Laptop, etc) have no problem connecting. Tech support is not the greatest either.

Then buy a Panasonic. Sony is 2nd, although their "how to set it up" audio directions totally suck.

There is a thread where the guy has the 5100 Sony and the OM frankly sucks. Samsung(and I have a washer/dryer of theirs) in my eyes has never been a quality product.
