Can anyone comment on the applications that Belden 1801B can be used for? I know this is Single Pair 24 AWG stranded (7x32) tinned copper conductors, plenum, foam FEP Teflon® insulation, twisted pairs, overall Beldfoil® shield (100% coverage), 24 AWG drain wire, Flamarrest® jacket.I believe it has digital applications for AES/EBU digital audio cabling for in wall runs of balanced audio. Any help would be appreciated.

What help do you need? You already know what it is used for.
Hello. In your experience have you seen this used in mostly in wall/ ceiling? Is the 1800B non-plenum used for the same?

It is expensive stuff with the (forget the trade name) low-burn jacket. So there is absolutely no reason to use it otherwise. Although it is popular for stage use for the same reason where you have no idea how often it will get stepped on or have to run through some make-shift wall.

The very definition of non-plenum tells you not to use it "in-wall".

The term plenum(in conjunction with wiring specs) is lifted directly from HVAC code.

But, "plenum" and "CL" are not the same terms. You can have a wire one or the other...or both.
