"All I stated was what the manual disclosed about the burn it."And some of us are just trying to tell you that it isn't a problem. Rest is kinda up to you. You can trust the manual or you can trust people who'll watch 2+ hour movies pretty much all the time. And yes, many times in 2.40:1. And in 4:3 with black bars on the sides.I obviously haven't tested every single model from different manufacturers, but if 2+ hour movie in e.g. 2.40:1 will cause burn in I would say: Get rid of that piece of junk.

I thought only plasma had the bad rap for burn in...:-D
