Don't read if you don't want a generalized hint on how to win the game.

Its just a matter of finding all of the stuff

If you need any help, here are some spoiler hints, in order of difficulty (IMO):

Look under the desk

Look behind the bed by clicking on the lower left corner of the blank wall

Look in the section between the pillow and the bed frame by clicking under the pillow when it is lifted up, near the apex of the triangle it makes when lifted

Open and close the curtains several times

Near the end of the short film, the guy points at a specific spot, with a little crosshair

You have to click the spot after he walks towards you and turns off the projector but before it automatically moves you to the other wall. Wait till you have red blank wall

The code for the safe can be found on the website link in the paper

Which is '1994'

John, you're missing a battery.

You need to find all the items in the room, even though not all are used. :) And you need to understand that things don't always point to themselves.

Play with everything. Trust nothing.

If all else fails, read the spoilers provided above. (Very well done on those.) I was too stubborn to give up and finally thought my way past the one place where I was absolutely stuck. After that escaping was quite easy.

Regards,

Joe

Oof. You've really got to hunt for those items. I didn't think it was going to be that hard to find those items because I thought there was a little moe to the game - I got out though - a bit anticlimatic though. Hmph.

I'll try this next one.

I just solved it and was gonna post about it when I saw this thread. Very challenging, althoughfinding the safe IMO was the toughest part
.

James:

That's also the part I had the toughest time with the first time through, because I was trying to do what was needed "too early".

Now, however, I'm going back through it to show a friend of mine and I can't find the blessed battery, because I can't remember where to click. The hint in the spoiler box above isn't helping me, because I can't find a view that lets me see the area described.

HELP! :)

Regards,

Joe

This takes me back. mmm...Sierra games... Fatal flaw of not knowing where to click though (I know I want to look under the bed, just not where to click to do it!). Classic problem of the interface getting in the way of the game...

Still, parsers were just as bad...

That second game was awesome! Could have used some hints though. :D

I want to say that song in the ending credits is from Karate Kid
, but I have my doubts.

OK, the song is sung by Peter Cetara and is from Karate Kid II
