    Buena Vista Home Entertainment will release Mel Gibson's Apocalypto on May 22nd. The film will be presented in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen, along with Yukatek Maya Dolby Digital 5.1, DTS 5.1 Surround tracks and English subtitles. Bonus materials include a feature commentary with Mel Gibson and co-writer Farhad Safinia, a single deleted scene with optional commentary, the featurette"Becoming Mayan: Making Apocalypto" and a trailer gallery. Retail is $29.99.

    Anybody know if the DVD has regular english subtitles or those awful closed captions?

    If it's regular subtitles, what color are they? Yellow or white?

    I'm looking forward to renting this one. Never saw it in the theater.

    I hope the DVD clears up the mystery of that theatrical trailer with the different actors and the elaborate CGI shot of the Mayan city...none of which was in the movie!
