I agree. Great flick. Though I have the old LD of it, I'd love to own a nice new transfer of THE LAST VOYAGE on R1 DVD.

Also have the laserdisc version - when I purchased Criterion's " A Night To Remember " a couple of years ago on Ebay the seller threw in this title plus " Titanic" - 1996 with George C. Scott as well as " Titanic " - 1953 with Clifton Webb. Which reminds me - the OAR of Last Voyage must be at least 1:66 - the laserdisc version is full frame, unfortunately. Yes, Robert Stack did some good acting in that film. One of the more realistic movies of that type.

Well, it's a 1960 MGM film so that means Warners has the rights. If they can release Night Of The Lepus, I don't think a The Last Voyage release is out of the question.

One more for the "Me too" list. I don't know that I consider this a great movie, and I have NEVER been able to stand the little girl, but I do have this thing for sinking ship movies, and for that, this one is superb.
