Anyone else want the 1960 "disaster" movie "THE LAST VOYAGE" on DVD ?

If so, how do we go about bringing it to the studios attention ? I love this film and it would sit great next to "THE POSIEDON ADVENTURE" and "TITANIC".

    Anyone agree?

I agree. Great flick. Though I have the old LD of it, I'd love to own a nice new transfer of THE LAST VOYAGE on R1 DVD.

    yes great forgotten movie.

a real ship is sunk and filmed in the ship while sinking.

    it'll probably never happen though.

amc used to show it alot before it went the way of editied and commcercials.

Also have the laserdisc version - when I purchased Criterion's " A Night To Remember " a couple of years ago on Ebay the seller threw in this title plus " Titanic" - 1996 with George C. Scott as well as " Titanic " - 1953 with Clifton Webb. Which reminds me - the OAR of Last Voyage must be at least 1:66 - the laserdisc version is full frame, unfortunately. Yes, Robert Stack did some good acting in that film. One of the more realistic movies of that type.

Well, it's a 1960 MGM film so that means Warners has the rights. If they can release Night Of The Lepus, I don't think a The Last Voyage release is out of the question.

One more for the "Me too" list. I don't know that I consider this a great movie, and I have NEVER been able to stand the little girl, but I do have this thing for sinking ship movies, and for that, this one is superb.
