I'm really tapping into obscurity here, but this family drama had an extremely brief run on CBS with only eight episodes from June 13th to August 1st. I haven't seen it since, so my memory is fuzzy. I can sort of remember the opening credits, and something to do with an old lumber mill run by the grandfather. This was my first all-time favorite to be cancelled. And critics were none too kind to it. Undoubtedly, the series left a lasting impression or I wouldn't be asking after all these years. I would love to see it again. And given the talent involved: Tom Wopat, Season Hubley, Pat Hingle, and Danny Gerard, I would think a DVD release would be possible somewhere in there.
