Any opinions on JBL E250P Subwoofer? (1 Viewer)

I currently have a JBL PB12 subwoofer that died on me recently. I contacted JBL/Harman, and they said that the best they can offer me is to give me a deal on their Northridge E250P subwoofer.

I'm kind of hesitant about going with another JBL sub, if the amps they use are prone to go bad after a few years. Hopefully, they fixed it in their current line of subs.

My other option is to get a sub amp from Parts Express (or elsewhere), and fix my current sub.

So, does anyone have any opinions, good or bad, about this sub? Any opinions on the sub amps from Parts Express?

I have the sub (got it for a song, new), and all I can say is it appears to be a very good, solid subwoofer.

I have not heard of any issues on this sub - it certainly isn't 'junk'.
