some of the lyrics on Fox Confessor are waaay too abstract, and I had to sell the disk after listening 6 or 7 times. but I like her voice and the music. and I'm keeping The Virginian (which I came across many years ago) and Blacklisted.

Maybe I'll get Tigers, as I've heard a lot about it.

I picked up Fox Confessor a couple weeks ago - if you think she's abstract try someone like Sam Phillips!
I'm peeved though. I'm going to miss her appearance in my town.

It's a great performance and the sound quality is absolutely wonderful. The LPCM stereo track is encoded at 24-bit 48 kHz. The DTS surround track sounds great too. I think it's worth buying it just for the song "Behind The House" (which is the one in that Youtube clip on the ACL DVD page), as it hasn't been released officially anywhere else.

Tigers is great. Fox is great. It's all great.

I find the quality of the recording on Tigers to be pretty awful. It's over-compressed and lacking in dynamic range. Fox Confessor sounds divine. Blacklisted is my fav Neko effort.

i'm not really an audiophile nerd* like many people here, i'm just a regular nerd. i only meant it's great performance-wise. but yeah, even as a regular nerd i can hear the difference.

*this is meant in the best possible way, in case anyone starts seething with rage at the sight of these words.
