Any impression on Jamo's? (1 Viewer)

I was looking at cheap bookshelf, and for the money I think the Jamo E 800's were pretty decent for $300. I ended up going with Polk LSi's for the TV room. Anyway I'd never really heard much about Jamo, but they sounded nicer than anything else in the $300/pr range. I was thinking about getting the rest of the set for a second room, but I'm not sure. The paper (has some kinda shiny stuff embedded) cone with the hole kinda worries me. Anybody have any stories?

I have jamos for my stereo setup...love the sound all i do is listen to music no matter what i do...i have floodstanding concert series so i don't really know much about their lower end. If you like the sound i think you should get them...for me these sound better for music then the psb i have for my ht.

I am using Jamo cornet series for my L/C/R they are about 3 years old. I personally love the sound the produce. I agree with Khoa If you like them then you should get them. Also see if the dealer will allow you to demo them at home so you can see how they sound with your set up.

The E800's are a very nice speaker and quite versatile. I'd rank them above the LSi's you're comparing them to but audition them yourself and judge for yourself.
