I recently downloaded the Home Theater Forum app via the Google Play store, but it does not work. It displays an ad upon start-up, but when I actually try to sign in, I get a "connecting to server..." popup that never goes away.

I'm running Android version 4.4.2 on a Google Nexus 5.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Thanks for posting. I'm also using a Nexus 5 and see the same thing. Sorry about this. I'm uploading a new APK now. If you want it sooner, send me a PM and i'll shoot you a link.

The app just updated, and it works beautifully now. Amazingly quick turn around! Thank you very much!

    LG L9...

Not sure what happened yesterday, but the app nor the physical website will work on my phone. Tried Chrome and whatever the "stock" browser is on the L9.

App just says "connecting to server" and never gets anywhere(but I still get the ad... )

The website just doesn't load. Goes to a blank screen.

    (not tried any other phone)

    Sam,

I'll check into this, but it appears to be working fine for me.

I just did uninstalled it and reinstalled it...works now(although still says "not permitted to see this post" when I try to edit a post).

I installed it last night and it's giving me fits! It won't load properly (doesn't even show me as signed in) and now I keep getting signed out online.
