As this was a early dvd release, could anyone tell me what the r2 picture transfer is like? does it hold up to todays transfers or is it full of pixellation like Shawshank and Bram Stoker's Dracula.

Lee, the transfer isn't the best of the best, but it holds up quite well to the various colour and black & white sequences throughout the movie, and the audio is 5.1 unlike a lot of EiV's DVD's. The disc (from the evil Entertainment in Video) also has the extras of New Line's R1 disc, namely a few deleted scenes and a trailer
