I went from using Apple Mail to Airmail on my desktop.

I find Airmail to have a more attractive interface than the standard Apple Mail counterpart.

Especially like the image icons that are captured from both your contacts and Facebook lists.

Now Airmail is about to introduce an iOS app. I am currently beta testing it.

It looks incredible. It works wonderfully.

Here is a peek...

I had to blank out any personal email information I did not want broadcasted, so please excuse the markings.

I really think that this app is going to turn quite a few heads and could be the default email client for many one it is officially released.

Furthermore, if you already have the OS X app and have your settings saved to iCloud, the iOS version will automatically import all your accounts and signatures. Basically, you'll be ready to go in no time.

If you currently are not using Airmail for your desktop, I would advise you to go to the app store and check it out.

I use the regular email app on my iphone.

The one thing that the gmail ios app doesnt do seems to be move right to the next email after I read it and delete it.

If there is an option for this I can't find it.

Also cant find airmail in the app store can you post a direct link?

Tony,

Airmail is still in beta. Not yet in App Store.

However, you might still be able to get in on the beta.

If you can post, ask for an invitation. Let me know how you make out and what you think.

Yeah I can't figure that link out.

I created a team and a domain but that link takes me to a sign in and after

that I can not get to whatever that link is supposed to be.

No biggie

Also it looks like this is called Slack and Slack is introducing an app called Airmail

Yeah this is a new tool from Slack. I've not used Slack, but it's all the rage on the tech podcasts I listen to.

Interesting. I was looking for a new iOS app when Mailbox announced they were shutting down, but I went to Spark and am loving it. I currently just use the Gmail web interface on my laptop. I'm not in love with it though and wouldn't mind another desktop solution.

I got it.

It's up and running thanks.

I'll have to look closer but as a beta wouldn't there be something for me to give feedback?

Yes. Use the slack forum. They should have given you a link to that.

Let me know what you think of it.

It's good so far.

Almost seems like the gmail app on steroids.

One oddity is email notices from htf are in a tiny window that I need to click to open the normal size email.

Tony,

I forget if you have a Mac desktop or laptop --- however, AIRMAIL is miles ahead of the standard Apple Mail app.

I have been using AIRMAIL on OS X for years. It has a beautiful interface. Works wonderfully.

I really think this iOS app is going to be killer. The reason why I prefer it over others is its support for POP. I use a mix of imap and pop 3 settings.

Enjoy.

Been using Airmail for most of my iphone mail reading but HTF email notices don't work properly.

I noticed that in the app there is an option to record

the screen while usong Airmail so I'll be doing that and sending it to them so they can see what

is going on.

Won't be getting the Mac version.

Gmail works fine for what I do. Don't need to spend $10 for an email laptop app

Tony,

Yeah, I notice the HTF notices don't format correctly. However, I see that same problem on a lot of other 3rd party email programs.

Still, worth bringing it to Airmail's attention.

Your call on the desktop version. I can understand why you would want to stick with what you have.

This is Slack?

I use slack for a very small trading community. Love it! I'll be watching for it soon.

You get Hltf email notices? Are they useful and not just ads? Curious if I'm missing out on something.
