For me, I guess it'd be Christian Bale (especially since the marketing for "The Fighter" reminds people that Mark Wahlberg is an Oscar-nominated actor).

Bale and Gary Oldman(even if his recent acting is not Oscar-worthy,he gave memorable performances in the past)

Yuh know, Gary Oldman is a biggie here.


He is one of the finest actors of our generation.


He is a chameleon. He can slip into any role
and make it his own -- especially when he

chooses psychopath type roles.

Certainly, his three most memorable performances

were in True Romance, Bram Stoker's Dracula and

Leon/The Professional. As I remember, he was also

in Hannibal but most people would never have recognized him.

Definitely Gary Oldman. I know he's performed in much more complex roles, but I couldn't believe it was the same guy in The Fifth Element and The Dark Night. The only other current actor I can think of that fades into his roles as well is Kevin Spacey. (And I just had to look, he's won twice.)

Yup, I remember when I saw Hannibal, the voice and mannerisms made me think it MIGHT be him... but I had to look it up to be sure.
