Looking forward to picking up my 2-disc Region 2 edition some time next week, probably my film of the year, can't think of a film I enjoyed more last year.

Whoa, I am genuinely shocked, glad you liked it Jack.

My feelings are more mixed, some exeptional stuff, lots of unnecessary stuff as well, but mostly, I really dislike PJ's writing contingent and their seemingly incessant need to create a dramatic arc for everyone by using the same clunky, tired, oh so obvious "setup/resolution" template.

Anyway, good movie, fantastic spectacle.

Now you need to go back, watch the LOTR trilogy and realize the masterpiece that it is .
